new partnership An EDSB newsletter states “After assessing our ability to offer a wide variety of companies and options, we determined that it was in the best interest of our customers to partner with an agency who has a long and solid history of providing customer service and competitive pricing for homes, autos, recreational vehicles, as well as a broad selection of companies for our commercial, farm, life and health clients.” Jerry Till, located in EDSB’s Pennsylvania office in Dubuque, will remain as an EDSB employee and will continue to service his group and individual health insurance business. According to the newsletter, former EDSB Insurance employees Geoff Barklow is pursuing other interests and Phyllis Krepfle has retired.
On Sept. 1, EDSB Insurance was purchased by Ludovissy & Associates Insurance Agency.
“”I think the partnership of EDSB and our agency is good for both,” said Dave Ludovissy of Ludovissy Insurance. “Our location here in East Dubuque puts us in front of the bank’s customers, a customer base we might not have seen. We are an independent insurance agency representing various companies, offering auto, home, life, health and business insurance.”
Ludovissy started the agency in Dubuque nearly 25 years ago
