Global Entertainment Opens 2 New Arenas

Global Entertainment announced the November Grand Opening events of the two most recently completed multi-purpose events centers located in the cities of Allen, Texas and Independence, Missouri.

The official ribbon cutting ceremony and a facility open house was held on November 4, at the Allen Event Center in Allen, Texas. Some 500 people filled the outdoor plaza entrance to the Allen Event Center to hear Mayor Stephen Terrell welcome the citizens of Allen and Collin County to the official opening.
“It’s an exciting time in Allen,” said Mayor Terrell. “We are seeing the result of years of strategic planning that included setting Allen apart in the North Texas region as the place to be. We opened our premier event center with a winning hockey team and a Reba McEntire concert. Combine this with the extras of free parking and a Community Ice Rink and we have met our goal to become a regional entertainment destination for families.”
